Swimming Pool

Mom called this morning she was delivering mail at rite-aide. She called to say that they had their pools on cheap. I had bought something for the boys to play in the other day and it wasn't what we thought it was. So they were a little dissapointed. Well after 2 hours and according to the box 800 gallons of water (should be a little spendy on the water bill this month). The pool was full. Porter and Drey were excited about it. I need to get a few pictures downloaded off the camera card so you can see what is going on. I am a little behind. I also need to get a picture of the box that jake has built for his bear. It is pretty but a stuffed bear is going on it. I really don't like stuffed animals and am not very excited about the bear coming... Well more to come in the life and times of the Beck's

Cement

It came today the first part of the cement. The steps go in second I guess. I don't know I am not the Pro that is Uncle Scotts Field...
But it is here and we are on a roll...

Summer

Well we just finished swimming lessons, rookie ball, and are ready for the hot part of summer. The porch is framed and the cement is coming and we are ready to roll. We trimmed a bunch of the trees back to get the cement truck in. So know we are ready to move on quickly but we all know with construction quickly is not a word. It is slowly and on everyone elses time..

More House Destruction

i came home from rookie ball and jake had pretty much demolished the front yard. i am amazed at what he can take down in less then an hour and 1/2.

House Work

I thought I would let you all see the MINOR house work that Jake has been doing. He ripped out the steps and porch. Uncle Scott is coming on Monday to pour new ones. We are trying to get that done, then stucco and then put in the grass. What a summer project. Plus we are trying to have a little bit of a summer. Haven't even taken the boat out this year..

Wild about the ZOO

We headed up to the Zoo on Friday. THere were a million people but we had a blast. The kids ran from animal to animal. Porters favorite animal at the Zoo was the bear,the tigers, the elephants and everything that was there. He had a blast. My favorite picture of the zoo was when we were loading everything in the car and Porter started giggling. A butterfly had landed on his water bottle...

What have you done lately...

we planted a garden!! Porter and Dreyton love to do this. As soon as the first pumpkin appears they are ready to pick. We have to hold them off each year so that the pumpkins turn orange. But Porter put on a unique outfit this year to help plant.

Whats going on?

After much convincing from Jami and Tiffany I took the plunge and am making a blog. This way everyone will know what is going on. It's not like I don't let everyone know what is going on any ways but here we go. Summer is in full swing. I thought that since I am not coaching volleyball anymore. I would have all the time in the world. But I have filled my time up with many activities. Porter is in Rookie ball, I am in charge of the league and every Tuesday and Thursday I put on a clinic for 100 4-5 years old. He started swim lessons, trips to the library and the snow shack to see the softball girls, and the best part of summer so far the ZOO. Keller will turn 4 months old on the 21st of June, and is growing like a weed. Jake just called to the young mens presidency of the ward and to be the scout master (Lucky him). But we are all well and healthy.
